Job description

PLEASE NOTE: Based on the current hiring restrictions, selectees may be subject to additional approvals prior to an offer being extended.

This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Wholesale Operations Division. As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for the execution of the auction process, financial and technical analysis, conducting special projects, and working with automated systems in the office.

Qualifications:You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
Specialized Experience: Specialized experience for the GS-12 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-11 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes providing project support, performing financial and technical analysis in order to identify issues and provide recommendations for improvement of systems, programs or processes.
Examples of such experience could include:
- Analyzing and developing project plans; OR
- Performing automated system testing; OR
- Defining and writing system requirements and test scripts; OR
- Identifying and resolving issues and problems; OR
- Supporting automated system development and design.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.Education:This job does not have an education qualification requirement.Employment Type: OTHER
