Job description

Customer Service:

  • Deal directly with customer either by telephone, electronically or face to face
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Handle and resolve customer comlpaints
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to designated resource
  • Maintain customer/vendor database
  • Work with sales team to assist in managing customer accounts

Accounting:

  • Review accounts receivable for overdue invoices
  • Contact customers for payment
  • Review open sales order reports
  • Process invoices for orders and sales
  • Process weekly accounts payable check run
  • Receive/monitor/adjust inventory in Sage 50 (eventually Sage 100)
  • Provide monthly and YTD salesperson register
  • Complete monthly sales/use tax returns
  • Answer credit requests on customers
  • Inquire about prospective customers' credit
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliation

Office Manager:

  • Maintain office records
  • Design and maintain filing systems
