This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, calibrating, and optimizing packaging machinery to maximize uptime, efficiency, and product quality.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automated packaging equipment including cartoners, flow wrappers, HFFS/VFFS systems, tray sealers, conveyors, servo-driven equipment, and pneumatic systems.Job Duties:Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed packaging equipment and automated production linesPerform preventive maintenance, changeovers, machine setup, calibration, alignment, and timing adjustmentsSupport packaging equipment including:CartonersFlow wrappersHFFS/VFFS systemsTray sealersConveyorsTroubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, sensor, servo motor, and basic electrical systemsOptimize machine performance, packaging line efficiency, and equipment reliabilityRead schematics, technical drawings, and OEM manualsUtilize CMMS to document maintenance activities and repairsSupport GMP, HACCP, SQF, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) complianceAssist with equipment installation, startup, and continuous improvement initiativesQualifications:High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred2+ years of experience maintaining high-speed packaging equipment in food manufacturing, beverage manufacturing, or CPG manufacturingStrong mechanical troubleshooting and automation experienceExperience with pneumatics, sensors, servo motors, conveyors, and automated packaging systemsBasic PLC exposure (Allen-Bradley or Siemens preferred)Ability to read schematics and technical manualsWelding/fabrication experience is a plusAbility to work overtime, weekends, or flexible shifts as neededQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
