As a Systems Engineer, you'll design, integrate, and optimize complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem-solving is essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes and writing system specifications. You'll be responsible for analyzing requirements, defining system architectures, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems. Additionally, you'll identify and mitigate risks, confirming that our systems meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement automation and control systems for various applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, control, and data connectivity systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for automation, control, and data connectivity processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in automation, control, and Industry 4.0.

Functional Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of robotics applications, including robotic system integration, collaborative robots (cobots), and AI in robotics.
  • Proficiency in vision systems engineering, including machine vision, image processing algorithms, and integration with automated equipment.
  • Experience with assembly automation, including robotic arms, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and conveyor systems.
  • Knowledge of packaging automation, including automated packaging machinery, case erectors, palletizers, and stretch wrap machines.
  • Expertise in electrical automation, including the design and implementation of control systems, sensors, and actuators to monitor and regulate electrical processes
  • Familiarity with electrical circuits, power systems, and control theory to create customized automation solutions
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Groovy, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and communication standards (e.g., TCP/IP, SNMP).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware).
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in PLC programming and SCADA systems.
  • Experience with PID tuning, HMI development, and industrial networking.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical and LabVIEW.
  • Familiarity with data connectivity, including data integration, data warehousing, and data visualization.
  • Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, AI, machine learning, and cyber-physical systems.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
