GENESIS OF SPRING

Spring, Texas

Finance Manager (F&I Manager)

Full-Time | Exempt / Commission-Based

Job Summary

Genesis of Spring is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Finance Manager (F&I Manager) to join our team. The Finance Manager is responsible for structuring and presenting vehicle financing, lease, and protection product options to guests after the sale is negotiated, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and compliant transition from the sales floor to final delivery. This role is critical to the dealership's profitability and to delivering the premium, white-glove experience Genesis customers expect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present financing, leasing, and extended protection product options (vehicle service contracts, GAP, tire & wheel, appearance protection, etc.) to customers in a transparent, compliant, and professional manner.
  • Structure deals and submit credit applications to a network of banks, credit unions, and other lenders to secure competitive financing approvals.
  • Accurately prepare, review, and process all finance and lease contracts, title work, and required state and federal documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including Truth in Lending, Red Flags Rule, OFAC, and other consumer protection and privacy requirements.
  • Maximize per-vehicle-retailed (PVR) finance and insurance income while maintaining strong product penetration and customer satisfaction (CSI) scores.
  • Maintain accurate and organized deal jackets, funding packages, and documentation to ensure quick, clean funding with minimal chargebacks or contracts-in-transit aging.
  • Partner closely with the sales and desk managers to ensure a seamless handoff and consistent customer experience from negotiation through delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lending partners, negotiate rates and terms, and stay current on lender guidelines and program changes.
  • Monitor and manage contracts in transit (CIT), stay current on state title/registration requirements, and resolve funding holds promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Genesis Finance programs, incentives, and lease residuals.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics, transparency, and customer care consistent with the Genesis brand experience.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of automotive Finance & Insurance (F&I) management experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of strong F&I product penetration, PVR performance, and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of dealership DMS and F&I menu/compliance software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, DealerTrack, RouteOne, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of retail installment contracts, lease structuring, and state/federal compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business or finance a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Competitive base salary plus commission and volume bonuses, commensurate with experience.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid time off

This position is based on-site at Genesis of Spring and requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced dealership environment, working evenings and weekends based on dealership hours and customer traffic.
