Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cashier to support our dealership’s sales and service departments. The ideal candidate will handle customer transactions, operate our point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role is key to maintaining smooth financial operations and an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process cash, credit, debit, check, and other payment transactions using the POS system. 

  • Greet customers and escort them through checkout for vehicle purchases, service payments, parts purchases, and other financial transactions. 

  • Ensure correct pricing, calculate totals, and issue receipts, refunds, and change. 

  • Reconcile cash drawer at beginning and end of shifts; balance daily transaction records. 

  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries regarding billing and payments. 

  • Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and support front-desk operations as needed. 

  • Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Finance teams to support seamless customer experiences.

Core Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred. 

  • Strong cash handling and POS transaction skills. 

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities. 

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. 

  • Professional demeanor and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
