A-Level Auto Tech | $35-$40/HR + Bonus | M-F

Miller Motor Company is hiring an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician who wants strong pay, steady work, and a shop that gives techs the support they need to do quality repairs.

About the Shop

Miller Motor Company is a busy independent repair shop in Centre Hall, PA. The shop works on Domestic, European, Asian, and light fleet vehicles, giving A-Level Technicians a strong mix of diagnostic, electrical, engine repair, drivability, and general repair work.

The shop has 7 bays, 4 lifts plus a 4-post alignment lift, Tekmetric, Steer CRM, Autel and Snap-on scan tools, and an onsite Carquest parts store located right next to the shop. That means faster parts access, smoother workflow, and less wasted time.

The team is looking for an experienced technician who can think through problems, work across multiple makes and models, and bring a strong professional attitude to the shop.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and drivability repairs
  • Diagnose and repair electrical concerns
  • Complete engine repair and general automotive repair
  • Perform inspections and identify needed repairs
  • Work on Domestic, European, Asian, and light fleet vehicles
  • Use Autel and Snap-on scan tools
  • Work with Tekmetric DVI
  • Collaborate with the service advisor, parts team, and shop manager
  • Focus on repairs and diagnostics, not parts sourcing

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recent professional automotive technician experience
  • Strong diagnostic, electrical, and drivability repair skills
  • Engine repair experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pennsylvania Inspection and Emissions Licenses
  • Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of Domestic, European, and Asian vehicles
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Independent repair shop experience
  • ASE Certifications
  • Experience using Tekmetric or other DVI/shop management software (training available)
  • Experience with Autel and Snap-on diagnostic equipment
