What You’ll Be Doing

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
  • Perform general automotive repairs
  • Complete preventative maintenance services
  • Perform full vehicle inspections
  • Handle removal and replacement work
  • Complete larger mechanical repairs as qualified
  • Review repair needs and communicate findings clearly
  • Use digital vehicle inspection software
  • Work primarily on domestic and Asian vehicles
  • Occasionally service European and fleet vehicles
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation
  • Work closely with the service advisor and other technicians

The workload is approximately evenly divided between diagnostics and maintenance.

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASE certifications
  • Digital vehicle inspection experience
  • Electrical and drivability diagnostic experience
  • Experience in an independent repair shop
  • Broad experience across multiple makes and models

DVI experience is helpful but not required. Training can be provided.
