Master/A Level Automotive Technician

New Haven, MI
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Important Shop Policy: Wrenches down at 4:30 PM. Seriously. Go home.
$35–$45/hr + Quarterly Bonuses
Top Technicians Earn $100K+


The Opportunity

If you're the technician everyone turns to for electrical diagnostics, drivability issues, and complex repairs, this could be the shop you've been looking for.

We're hiring an experienced A-Level or Master Technician for a well-established independent shop that values quality repairs, accurate diagnostics, and professional technicians. You'll have access to modern equipment, steady workflow, paid training, and leadership that respects your expertise.

What You'll Do

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Domestic, Asian, and light diesel vehicles
  • Diagnose electrical, drivability, and intermittent concerns
  • Use OE-level equipment including Autel, Snap-On, and Topdon scan tools
  • Complete DVIs using Tekmetric
  • Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with service advisors
  • Deliver accurate repairs and honest recommendations

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of automotive experience
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical skills
  • ASE Certifications A1–A8 required
  • Master ASE preferred
  • Michigan Mechanic Certification required
  • Valid driver's license and strong teamwork skills
