Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality therapeutic interventions utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) techniques in individualized, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Engage with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and objectives, ensuring regular re-evaluation and adjustment based on client progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions, incorporating assessments, progress notes, and adherence to agency standards and local regulations.
  • Participate actively in weekly supervision sessions with the clinical director or designated supervisor to enhance clinical skills and receive guidance on complex cases.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions to coordinate care and share insights regarding patient progress and therapeutic strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Mental Health Therapists primarily work with a diverse clientele, emphasizing children and adolescents struggling with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R) in New York State.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly in a clinical environment, is essential.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in therapeutic approaches addressing family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
