Our client is an innovative technology company developing advanced AI, XR/VR, robotics, and spatial intelligence solutions for defense, public safety, and commercial applications. They are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer who is passionate about creating intuitive, user-centred experiences for complex technologies.

As a UX/UI Designer, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to design intuitive, visually engaging, and user-friendly experiences across web, mobile, and immersive applications. You'll play a key role in shaping the user experience from concept through implementation while maintaining consistency across design systems and brand standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design intuitive user experiences and modern user interfaces for web, desktop, and mobile applications.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to improve product experiences.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, UI components, and style guides.
  • Translate complex technical workflows into simple, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Ensure designs follow accessibility, usability, and responsive design best practices.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and stakeholder input.
  • Present design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams and leadership.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of professional UX/UI design experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design processes and polished UI work.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern design/prototyping tools.
  • Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and usability principles.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Experience designing for Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), or Mixed Reality (MR).
  • Experience with 3D interfaces, spatial computing, or immersive user experiences.
  • Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, or other immersive development platforms.
