What does an audiovisual coordinator do?

An Audiovisual Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the setup, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment for events, presentations, and meetings. They work closely with event organizers, technical teams, and vendors to ensure all audiovisual needs are met, including sound, lighting, video, and projection systems. Their duties often include troubleshooting technical issues, scheduling equipment usage, and training staff on proper equipment operation. Audiovisual Coordinators play a key role in ensuring events run smoothly and that presentations are delivered effectively.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an audiovisual coordinator?

To thrive as an Audiovisual Coordinator, you need expertise in audio and video technology, event production, and troubleshooting, often supported by a relevant degree or technical certification.
