Audio Visual Volunteers are individuals who assist with setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and visual equipment during events, meetings, or services. Their responsibilities may include handling microphones, speakers, projectors, lighting, and computers to ensure presentations and performances run smoothly. These volunteers often work behind the scenes, troubleshooting technical issues and supporting presenters or performers. They play a crucial role in enhancing the experience for both the audience and participants.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an audio visual volunteer?

To thrive as an Audio Visual Volunteer, you need a basic understanding of audio, video, and lighting equipment, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with equipment such as microphones, mixers, projectors, and common presentation software is usually expected, though formal certifications are not always required.
