About The Role Peraton is seeking a Manager, Audio Visual Engineering to work at Sierra Vista, Arizona What you will do: * Provides high-quality and experienced technical expertise in all aspects of AV and VTC, hardware and software purchases, related network services, maintenance support activities, and engineering work for existing and new equipment work on design specs and reviews for AV and communications systems using AutoCAD
* Designs system functionality based on client specifications and budgets. Works as an integrated team member with other engineers and installers, troubleshooting and solving problems as they arise
* Supports AV and VTC events, including but not limited to, meetings, conferences that require AV/VTC hardware support, public address system with multiple microphone/line level sources, public display for live/recorded/VTC video, computer display, and open/close caption
* Will assist salespeople with developing audio video systems, specifically specifying equipment, resolving potential connectivity issues, and determining labor estimates for quotes. Will occasionally work with salespeople on client meetings to win new projects and will also work as a project manager to oversee the successful completion of large projects
* Will also provide custom programming for audio video systems that allow for the tying together of multiple electronic functions onto a single control device. Typical systems include Extron, Crestron, and AMX. Install and configure Polycom video endpoints * Performs daily walk-throughs of conference rooms to make sure everything works
* Provides meeting room support
* Provides all hands type meeting support
* Provides camera recording for events
* Troubleshoots minor AV issues - Issues with projector, TV, PC, Mac, digital signage
Qualifications What you will need: * Minimum of 10 years experience managing AV installation and trouble tickets
* Management of Secret, Top Secret, and National Security Agency VTC and AV systems
* Current TS/SCI with C/I Poly
Details Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
