Sales Coordinator

(Hybrid Position)

Department: Customer Service and Fulfillment

Reports To: Lead Sales Coordinator

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Location: Chesterton

In-Office: Tuesday - Thursday

About the Role:

As the Sales Coordinator, you will provide exceptional customer experience. You’ll collaborate across the organization to deliver seamless order execution and customer satisfaction. Communication is key to the SC position and tasks can include but are not limited to processing orders, relaying tracking and order information, checking on order status, and resolving customer issues.


This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working on complex and multi-faceted matters, while being an influential part of a team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Receive and enter into orders accurately, confirming order status and product availability.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure orders are released, processed, and fulfilled accurately and efficiently.

Customer & Sales Support

  • Confirm customer account and payment terms, process credit card payments.
  • Respond to customer requests via email and telephone.
  • Provide product lead times, shipment tracking, and other information requested.
  • Escalate unresolved customer issues to designated departments/management for further investigation and resolution.

Individual and Team

  • Keep up to date technically and apply new knowledge to your job.
  • Meet required team goals and report to pre-designated workstation 8 hours per day.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.



What You Bring:

Experience

  • A high school diploma or GED is required. A college degree or equivalent work experience demonstrating transferable skills is preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of customer service.
  • Knowledge of the Audio/Video, Technology, IT, or related industry is beneficial.
  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and successfully lead a team.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
