Job description

Summary: The Audio Production Tech will manage and coordinate all audio and sound reinforcement needs at Trinity as well as collaborate with the Technical Department on all Audio, Video and Lighting needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage AVL Production for Worship Services and Special Events:
  • Maintain all AVL equipment relating to Trinity.
  • Serve as the primary FOH Audio Engineer for weekend services, rehearsals, Midweek, and special events.
  • Schedule both staff and volunteer coverage for all Worship Services and Special Events.
  • Design, integrate, and operate various sound systems for special events.
  • Aid in the design, planning, and installation for system upgrades and enhancements in various venues.
  • Work with the Technical Director and the Worship amp; Creative Arts Department to produce all technical elements for service production to include stage layouts, microphone/instrument needs, etc.
  • Oversee the building of all weekend service elements (ProPresenter files, Video switcher configurations, Live Streaming Apps, etc.)
Recruit and Lead an Audio Volunteer Team:
  • Lead/train audio engineers on the FOH, Monitor, and A/V sound consoles and equipment.
  • Train, lead, and direct a volunteer team for maximum impact.
  • Provide coaching and feedback for team members for continuous improvement.
  • Create an atmosphere of community for the Technical Department.
General:
  • Attend all required meetings (Chapel, Technical Team, Ministry Teams, etc.)
  • Recruit and train volunteers to assist in the Technical Department.
  • Aid in planning and installing for system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Help maintain proper supplies.
  • Ensure multi-media delivered is of high technical quality.
  • Assist in coordinating work of technical personnel engaged in controlling and maintaining multi-media equipment.
  • Be willing to cover additional responsibilities deemed as necessary for fulfilling the requirements of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS: Some college preferred in related field such as Live Sound and/or Audio Engineering. Experience with Midas Pro series consoles and coordinating hardware equipment, Yamaha CL and LS series consoles, Shure PSM/UHF/UHFR/ULXD, Dante, Meyer Sound RMS, and BSS Soundweb London. Cutting edge knowledge of multimedia operations to include intelligent light programming, audio for video/broadcast, click tracks/loop track use, in ear monitors, and multi-campus audio/video systems engineering. Proven people, organizational and administrative skills. High level of interpersonal skills/communication. Ability to adjust and adapt quickly to a changing environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
