Job description

Role Overview

Spire Communications is hiring a full‑time audio production specialist with demonstrated expertise in audio production, podcast development, and multimedia storytelling to support communications for the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF). This role manages the full audio production lifecycle, including research, interviews, scripting, narration, recording, editing, and distribution of audio content such as NSF’s Discovery Files Podcast. The ideal candidate combines strong editorial judgment, technical audio production skills, and the ability to communicate complex scientific and technical topics through compelling audio experiences.

Portfolio is required with application.

Work Arrangement

The position is hybrid, with potential for full‑time onsite work at the client site in Alexandria, VA. Occasional travel may be required.
