Job description

The Media Buyer at Mynt Agency leads the execution and optimization of performancedriven media campaigns with a primary focus on audio channels (podcast, streaming audio, and radio), while also driving growth across Connected TV (CTV) and Linear TV.  This role works in collaboration with senior media team members and other business functions to develop audio strategies, manage budgets, and maximize return on ad spend to enhance scale and performance. You’ll partner closely with Account Management and Analytics to deliver measurable business outcomes for clients.

Media Strategy & Planning
● Develop and manage audio-first media strategies across podcast, streaming audio, and radio, integrated with CTV and linear TV ○ The initial focus of the position will be Audio, namely podcast.  
● Build full-funnel plans aligned to client KPIs, balancing performance, reach, and efficiency
● Translate client goals, audiences, and market insights into actionable media strategies
● Maintain accuracy across all contracts, insertion orders, logs, and spreadsheets 
Media Buying & Execution
● Own planning, negotiation, and execution of audio and video media plans 1
● Manage and allocate budgets across channels to drive performance and scale
● Oversee campaign setup, trafficking, and QA in partnership with Ad Operations
● Lead vendor relationships across audio platforms, networks, and publishers 
Campaign Management & Optimization
● Oversee day-to-day campaign management, ensuring pacing and delivery align with performance goals
● Analyze reporting data and deliver actionable insights and optimization recommendations
● Lead testing strategies across audio formats, audiences, creative, and inventory
● Troubleshoot delivery issues and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and partners 
Client Leadership & Collaboration
● Serve as a key point of contact for media strategy and performance discussions
● Collaborate with Account Management to ensure campaigns meet KPI goals
● Drive client satisfaction, retention, and account growth 
Account Operations & Reporting
● Own weekly statuses, pacing updates, and tracking documents
● Ensure reporting is accurate, insightful, and tied to business outcomes
● Partner with Finance and Ad Ops on billing, reconciliation, and delivery validation
● Identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency
Performance & Analytics
● Update campaign performance across audio and video channels against KPIs (CPA, ROAS, revenue)
● Translate data into insights and forward-looking recommendations 2
● Partner with Analytics on measurement frameworks and attribution approaches
● Drive continuous testing and optimization across campaigns 
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work/internship experience
• 2-3 years of experience in a media buyer/coordinator  
• Familiarity audio advertising: podcast, digital streaming and radio
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid time management and prioritization skills
 
Preferred: 
• Familiarity CTV and Linear TV
• Agency experience or internship
• In-platform experience with DSPs, Innovid and Core Systems
• Interest in performance marketing and data-driven media
