Job description

Video Podcast Editor Launch REI is building a modern real estate media brand centered around a high-quality podcast, short‐form video, and a fast‐growing newsletter and community. We're looking for a Video Podcast Editor to own the post‐production of our long‐form podcast episodes. Applicants without examples of video podcasts you've edited will not be considered.

This is not an audio‐only editing role. This is a video‐first podcast editing role focused on quality, pacing, and professional presentation. You'll be editing full‐length video episodes, building episode intros/teasers, and preparing our content for YouTube, Spotify video, and audio platforms.

This role would be remote, part time. What you'll own Editing full-length video podcast episodes (multi‐cam, Riverside recordings) Audio cleanup, leveling, and polish Creating a high‐quality episode intro and teaser Structuring episodes for flow, pacing, and retention Inserting pre‐recorded CTAs and ad markers Formatting and exporting for YouTube + Spotify video + audio platforms Generating transcripts and basic show notes (AI‐assisted is fine) Uploading and organizing published episodes What success looks like Episodes feel professional, tight, and engaging Strong audio quality and clean visual presentation Consistent weekly publishing with reliable turnaround Clear improvement in overall production quality over time A smooth, low‐friction post‐production workflow Who we're looking for Experience editing video podcasts or long‐form YouTube conversations Strong instincts for pacing, structure, and storytelling Comfortable working with multi‐camera, remote recordings Reliable, organized, and detail‐oriented Communicative and execution‐driven Cares about quality and "taste," not just cutting files Bonus: experience working with business, education, or interview‐based shows.
