Job description

Super Company is seeking a Podcast Interviewer to help shape engaging, high-quality audio conversations for remote audiences.

Position Summary

The Podcast Interviewer will conduct thoughtful interviews, guide conversations with clarity and consistency, and help produce audio content that is engaging for listeners. This role supports the creation of compelling episodes by preparing guests, asking strong questions, and collaborating with the production team to maintain content quality.

This is a part-time, remote position with in-person location available at 2600 Marine Way, Mountain View, CA 94043-1126 as needed for coordination and production activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for each interview by reviewing episode topics, guest backgrounds, and key discussion points.

  • Conduct interviews that elicit clear, accurate, and compelling responses while staying aligned to the episode goals.

  • Ask follow-up questions to deepen insights, maintain momentum, and ensure a strong listening experience.

  • Coordinate with producers and editors to ensure recordings meet quality and content standards.

  • Maintain organization of interview notes, guest details, and episode materials from pre-production through recording.

Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience conducting interviews or hosting conversations in an audio or content environment.

  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to guide discussions smoothly and professionally.

  • Ability to prepare efficiently and adapt in real time during interviews.

  • Comfortable working in a remote setup with reliable availability for scheduled recording sessions.

  • Professional judgment, attention to detail, and respect for confidentiality when handling guest information.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience producing or supporting podcast content from pre-interview planning through final recording.

  • Familiarity with editorial and content review workflows, including incorporating feedback.

  • Experience interviewing subject matter experts and translating complex topics for general audiences.

  • A clear, engaging on-mic presence with strong pacing and tone control.

  • Prior experience collaborating with remote teams in content production environments.

Compensation

Minimum salary: $200.00 - Maximum salary: $300.00
