What you'll bring:

As a Specialist Network Technology, you will be responsible for troubleshooting moderate to highly complex roaming network issues affecting AT&T customers while roaming on partner carrier networks, as well as roaming partner customers utilizing the AT&T network. Support activities include both international and domestic wireless carriers.


The successful candidate will work directly with roaming partners, vendors, and internal AT&T organizations, including network engineering, operations, and customer-facing support groups, to investigate and resolve reported network issues. All incidents are managed through a ticketing system and require the use of various network monitoring and troubleshooting tools to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently.


Team members are expected to become knowledgeable across a broad range of wireless technologies and architectures, including 5G, VoLTE, LTE, UMTS/3G, and GSM/2G networks. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team environment is essential.

What you'll do:

  • Investigate and resolve moderate to highly complex roaming network issues impacting domestic and international customers.

  • Analyze wireless network performance and service-impacting events across multiple wireless technologies and network architectures.

  • Collaborate with domestic and international roaming partners, vendors, and internal AT&T teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.

  • Utilize network troubleshooting tools, performance monitoring systems, and ticketing platforms to manage and resolve incidents.

  • Document investigations, findings, and resolutions in a clear and professional manner.

  • Participate in troubleshooting efforts involving voice, messaging, and data services across multiple wireless technologies.

  • Monitor ongoing issues and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational process enhancements.

  • Work independently while also supporting team objectives and knowledge sharing activities.

What you'll need:

  • Required Experience:

    • 1+ years of related experience in area of professional responsibility

  • Desired Education:

    • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) preferred.

Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
