Overview

We are seeking an Entry‑Level Software Engineer (0‑3 years of experience) to join our Compass engineering team at Otis. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer eager to learn and contribute to real‑world systems used globally.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software for the Compass product line.
  • Work on Linux‑based systems and embedded platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including QA and field support.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and agile development activities.
  • Learn new technologies and tools as part of your regular workflow.
  • Roll up your sleeves to troubleshoot issues, improve existing systems, and support product enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
