Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Software Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Stratford, CT surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $43.00 - $72.00 Hourly

Job Responsibilities:  
  • Software development in support of digital tools required for production and field aircraft issues, design and documentation of SQL database architecture, and managing wireless/wired synchronization of aircraft data. 

Basic Hiring Criteria:  
  • The candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively to management and work well with other engineers in team environments. Expert software development skills is a must. 
  • Candidate must be fluent in Microsoft .NET framework, including the following languages: C#, C/C++, SQL, and HTML/CSS. 
  • Position requires candidate to be highly motivated, goal and team oriented (significant interaction with other NVH Engineers required throughout development efforts). 
  • Discussions involving higher-level mathematics and statistical modeling will require the candidate to translate foundational knowledge into code.
  • Extensive software development experience on medium-sized projects involving multiple users and synchronization issues and MS SQL Database architecture design and development. 
  • Working knowledge of Sikorsky IT protocols and policies is a plus.
