Job description

Atlas Pressure Control is a leading provider of oilfield pressure-control equipment and services, specializing in wellhead and pressure-control solutions for drilling and production operations. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our equipment at customer sites, supporting the energy sector's demanding field operations. You will be part of a close-knit team that values responsibility, reliability, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Install, repair, maintain, and test wellhead and pressure-control equipment in the field
  • Verify equipment compatibility through inspection and dry fitting, and communicate findings to customers
  • Install and test equipment according to established operating procedures
  • Perform servicing and maintenance as requested by customers, following company procedures
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment in response to field malfunctions or customer requests
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment; report needed repairs to the Service Manager
  • Report field problems and failures to the Service Manager for complaint documentation
  • Ensure appropriate tools, backup equipment, and parts are available for service jobs
  • Prepare accurate Field Service Orders, Rental Tickets, and customer-required documentation
  • Deliver timely and competent service to uphold high customer satisfaction standards
  • Complete special projects and assignments as directed by management

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience servicing and repairing drilling and production wellhead/pressure-control equipment (such as valves, Xmas trees, heads, spools, hangers, packoffs)
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience completing field service documentation
  • Working knowledge of wellhead and valve equipment compatibility, installation, operation, and maintenance
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
  • Ability to work long hours
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of oil and gas industry experience
  • Experience with Atlas Pressure Control equipment or other OEM pressure-control equipment
  • H2S certification
  • SafeLand certification
  • DOT qualification/certification for driving vehicles over 10,001 GVWR
