Job description

Norfolk Collegiate is seeking applicants for various athletic coaching positions for the current academic year. Opportunities are available in field hockey, cross country, soccer and wrestling. Coaches at Norfolk Collegiate serve a crucial function in supplementing the education of students who attend our school. Our robust athletic department helps in the development of the minds, bodies, and characters of our students, and coaches, like teachers in the classroom, serve as guides and mentors to this process. To coach one of the athletic teams at Norfolk Collegiate, an individual must demonstrate a caring and nurturing attitude toward young people and must seek to provide a positive but challenging learning environment for our athletes to develop the ability to push themselves and their teammates to achieve their goals through hard work, discipline, and a positive attitude. Coaches at Norfolk Collegiate must demonstrate knowledge in their particular sport and must be able to transmit that knowledge to athletes under their charge.
