Job description

Summary:

Position is responsible for customer orders for our operations nationwide. Creation and maintenance of customer files, gather information for setting up new part numbers, maintaining customer quotes, preparing orders for Production Scheduler, gather and compile information for customer returns Daily communications with customers, production scheduler, shipping manager, sales team and department production supervisors. CSR’s also obtain credit card information for accounting to process credit card payments. Assist current and potential customers with questions regarding open orders, order tracking, order requirements and pricing. Work collaboratively with all local and remote departments and branches. The ability to multi-task, has good communication skills, and the willingness to learn. Experience with Excel is a plus and good computer skills are critical.

Responsibilities:

· Enter pull from stock orders, extrusion orders and inventory replenishment orders.

· Support accounting, QC, sales and production teams with up-to-date information on orders, shipments scheduling, returns and issues with outside processors.

· Assist in inventory control.

· Ability to work as a team as well as independently.

· Communicate and obtain information from department supervisors and managers.

· Communicate with outside processer orders and shipments.

· Log and track material for outside processors.

· Assist potential and current customers with questions, updates and tracking in regards to orders.

· Provide quotes for material for established and new customers.

· Provide information for customer returns and quote requests.

· Obtain credit card information for processing by our Accounting Dept.

· Update and distribute monthly/quarterly price sheets to customers.

· Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Working Environment:

· Prior experience in manufacturing office environment.

· Normal weekday schedule of Monday thru Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. Some overtime may be required.

· Experienced computer skills in Epics and Oracle.

· Experience in Excel, Outlook, and Word.

· Good work ethic.

· Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

· 3 years or more experience in Customer Service for manufacturing.
