About the Company

Utility Associates is a full-service provider of integrated mobile, rugged, digital, and wireless technologies for law enforcement, transportation, and corporate applications. Utility also offers a suite of services including wireless strategy, product development, and systems integration.


Duties and Responsibilities

Follow inspection procedures for incoming material.

Ensure incoming material meets criteria as specified by drawings or procedures.

Perform visual check to verify product meets Utility cosmetic standards.

Follow audit plans per AQL standards for all incoming material.

Create reports and present them to the Material Review Board (MRB) on all non-conforming material or actions.

Assist with the creation of Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR)

All other duties as assigned by Utility Quality Assurance Manager


Qualifications

+2 years of experience with QA Inspection

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)

Ability to read and create assemble procedures and/or work instructions.

Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as organized presentation

Use of basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometer, hole gauges, scales, microscope...)

Preferred Certification to IPC-A-610
