Job Summary:
Fortinet is a leading cybersecurity company that secures enterprises and government organizations globally. They are seeking a Wireless Development Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability and accuracy of their WLAN product by designing and executing test plans, performing interoperability testing, and collaborating with the development team.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans (functional, regression, performance).
โ€ข Build complex testbeds integrating multiple Fortinet and third-party devices.
โ€ข Perform interoperability testing (Fortinet + 3rd-party devices/clients).
โ€ข Analyze customer-reported issues, review logs, replicate defects in lab, validate fixes.
โ€ข Identify, isolate, document, and track bugs through resolution.
โ€ข Produce accurate QA reports on time.
โ€ข Build and maintain test infrastructure for feature validation and defect reproduction.
โ€ข Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with developers on debugging.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 3โ€“6+ years of wireless QA experience.
โ€ข Strong understanding of QA methodologies (test plans, bug tracking, failure documentation).
โ€ข Networking and Wi-Fi protocol knowledge: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be
โ€ข Experience with: Functional, stress/load, and performance testing
โ€ข Experience with: Linux/UNIX/Windows OS
โ€ข Experience with: Debugging and log analysis
โ€ข Wireless tools: Wireshark
โ€ข Wireless tools: Omnipeek
โ€ข Wireless tools: Ixia Veriwave
