Job Title: Software QA Engineer I – Telecom
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ

Overview:
Seeking a Software QA Engineer I to support Telecom QA activities, focusing on device management and software certification for Verizon’s network. This role ensures high-quality mobile and wearable experiences through rigorous testing and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Samsung mobile & wearable devices (OMADM, SDM, FOTA).
  • Use Nokia Motive server for SDM/FOTA and device management.
  • Certify software packages for Verizon deployment.
  • Develop & execute test plans, cases, and automation (Selenium, Appium, Python, Jenkins).
  • Perform LTE/5G, regression, integration & OTA certification testing.
  • Analyze defects/logs, report issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering or related.
  • 1–3 years QA/Telecom device testing (internships/projects accepted).
  • Hands-on with Selenium, Appium, Jenkins, Python, SQL.
  • Knowledge of LTE/5G, SDM, FOTA, OMADM protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting & communication skills.

Preferred: Carrier certification experience (Verizon/AT&T/T-Mobile), CI/CD exposure, ISTQB certification.
