Senior Technical Project Manager

Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Senior Technical Project Manager with a major corporation in Orlando, FL. On-site 2-4 days per week, remote Fridays. Subject to change. Job Description: The Sr. Tech PM will identify, plan & coordinate a set of related projects within a program, to manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies across Cast, Park Operations, & Retail Technology (CPOR). They will apply project management principles, practices, & techniques to lead & control project schedule, scope, quality, cost & performance risks independently, for multiple complex technology projects. The Sr. Tech PM will coordinate the activities of the project team by becoming familiar w/ project scope & objectives, as well as the role & function of each team member. They will work closely w/ cross-discipline technology teams, leadership & business partners to understand & technical & business direction, milestones & budget, as well as provide leadership to project management team

Basic Qualifications: Required

โ€ข Four-year college degree in Information Technology, Business or related field or related work experience โ€ข 4+ years of technical program and project management experience working with technical teams developing enterprise class solutions โ€ข Technical project management expertise for a global or national brand(s), working closely with technology, creative and user experience teams โ€ข Hands-on experience with practices such as Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall as well as extensive experience with pragmatic blending of styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery โ€ข Ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of projects โ€ข Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills with attention to detail โ€ข Experience with Agile Application Lifecycle Management and development tools like JIRA, Confluence Wiki โ€ข Understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD) โ€ข Experience with budget tracking and complex cost-benefit analysis โ€ข Experience managing and prioritizing projects within the program and working seamlessly with various teams and stakeholders in a matrix organization โ€ข Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

Project management experience with customer-facing digital and/or mobile products โ€ข Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification โ€ข Agile Certifications (CSM; ACP; CSPO; SAFe; LeSS)
