Job description

About the Role:

Staffing Specialist responsibilities include advertising job openings across multiple channels and sourcing, attending job fairs, coordinating interviews, and conducting interviews. To be successful in this role, you should have an experience in staffing/recruiting, along with any other relevant work experience. This role will manage recruiting procedures from attracting/sourcing candidates to placing new hires. This role helps ensure our company recruits and retains qualified employees.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Participates in full-cycle recruitment efforts for non-exempt employees; helps coordinate the use of temporary employees
  • Handles essential recruitment tasks including posting job openings (internally and externally), reviewing resumes, calling candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting interviews
  • Conducts new-employee orientations
  • Occasionally assist with HR/Staffing-related projects, such as process improvements
  • Ensures human resource information system records (for new employees) is updated/accurate in the system and compiles reports from the database as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or relevant field preferred

  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and resume databases
