Job description

Leading Los Angeles law firm seeks a Talent Development Manager to support its transactional practice group. Reporting to the Director of Attorney Talent Development, you will partner with attorneys and firm leadership to drive associate development, staffing, training, and career growth while helping shape this sophisticated transactional practice.

Responsibilities

  • Advise associates on career development and professional growth.
  • Partner with leadership on evaluations, coaching, and feedback.
  • Coordinate associate staffing and workload management.
  • Support attorney training and professional development initiatives.
  • Manage onboarding, integration, and attorney departures.
  • Foster engagement and collaboration within the practice group.

Qualifications

  • J.D. required.
  • 4–8 years of law firm experience; transactional experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
