Job description

The Company:

  • A prominent Fortune 500 financial services firm with a nationwide network of independent financial advisors. This company offers an extensive selection of investment products and services to individuals, businesses, and institutions, with a strong emphasis on utilizing innovation and technology to cultivate client relationships.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Supporting advisory account billing and maintenance on a high-performing operations team. You'll ensure accurate, timely account servicing while partnering cross-functionally to resolve billing, fee, and termination items. Day to day, you will:
  • Perform advisory account maintenance and billing support using internal systems and databases
  • Monitor accounts for program funding gaps and missing documentation that may require termination
  • Process direct bill maintenance, fee adjustments (cycle changes, terminations, rep changes, conversions), and billing corrections
  • Coordinate with internal teams on journals, distributions, account opening, trading, compliance, and performance-related requests
  • Resolve fee and termination inquiries with a client-first mindset
  • Complete operational processing such as fee posting, manual batch tickets, custom billing, and batching
  • Maintain accurate policy and procedure documentation as processes evolve
  • Consistently meet established productivity and quality standards

Role Logistics:

  • 6-month contract
  • Location: San Diego, CA
  • Hybrid — onsite 3 days per week
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Pay rate: $24–$26/hr

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience; 0–2 years in brokerage, accounting, or financial services preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy-focused execution
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
