Job description

Eclipse Compliance Testing, a leader in testing gaming devices and online systems (amusement games, slot machines, video poker machines, keno, bingo and lottery systems) for use by more than 200 gaming jurisdictions throughout North America, is seeking qualified a Software Specialist to test, create and maintain custom software for our company and customer’s needs.  Qualified candidates will be educated and experienced in Computer Science, Computer Programming or equivalent technical disciplines.  Further, the successful candidate will be responsible for the test and evaluation of computerized gaming systems for compliance with established standards and regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the test, development, maintenance and evaluation of custom software essential to the Company’s business of testing electronic gaming and amusement equipment to ensure compliance with federal, state and tribal gaming regulatory standards.  Familiarity with C#/C++ programming is required.  Proficiency in other program languages, including XML and Java is most beneficial.  Applicants must be willing to travel as required to perform on-site inspections and certifications of gaming devices and on-line systems.

Excellent verbal and written skills are required.  Our staff must be able to communicate and relay information directly to and from customers in a clear and concise manner, as well as write approval and certification reports.  Foreign language fluency is a plus but not required.

No relocation benefits are offered for this position.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Bachelors Degree (preferred) or Associates Degree (minimum) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming or other equivalent technical degree.
