The R&D Intern supports laboratory research by assisting with molecular cloning, cell culture, and protein expression experiments, while preparing reagents and maintaining accurate GLP-compliant documentation. Collaborates cross-functionally with Process Development and project teams to ensure scalable, manufacturable outcomes and contributes to experimental design, troubleshooting, and technical reporting. Demonstrates strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced lab environment.

The Role:

  • Assist in designing and executing experiments across molecular cloning, cell culture, and protein expression
  • Prepare buffers, media, and reagents to support laboratory workflows
  • Maintain accurate, GLP-compliant lab records, batch documentation, and SOP adherence
  • Collaborate in cross-functional meetings to align on project strategy, timelines, and progress
  • Partner with Process Development to ensure scalability and manufacturability of cell lines
  • Review scientific literature and apply insights to experimental design and troubleshooting
  • Support preparation of technical documents, including protocols and reports
  • Provide general lab support while demonstrating strong analytical, communication, and time management skills in a fast-paced team environment
  • Other duties as assigned

The Candidate:
