Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing care to emergency room patients by utilizing the nursing process and adhering to nursing standards and hospital policies. The incumbent will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgement, and leadership in planning for safe patient care. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical competencies, directing patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical practices.
  • Supervise and provide direction to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with other professional disciplines.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN, with at least 2 previous travel assignments completed successfully.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
  • ESI level 5 training required.
  • TNCC preferred.
  • Cerner experience preferred.
