MedStar Harbor Hospital Float Pool Summary
  • Float to a variety of units (Med Surg/Tele/Neuro/IMC/ICU and ED Boarders)
  • Waterfront location

Pay
  • Base Pay based on working years of experience as a nurse
  • $3/hour float pool differential (X 12 hours)
  • Night Differential (X 12 hours)

Requirements
  • Three 12-hour shifts
  • 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks
  • 3 designated holidays per year
  • 2 hard-to-fill shifts per year (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter Sunday, Halloween, Super Bowl Sunday, Black Friday, 4th of July Nights)

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team
Qualifications
  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • 2 years of RN experience required; at least 2 years of acute care RN experience in Med Surg/Tele, IMC/PCU, CCU/ICU units strongly preferred.
  • Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). ACLS/NIHSS strongly preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have worked as a travel nurse or multiple healthcare organizations.

USD $41.96 - USD $59.91 /Hr.
