Essential Responsibilities:
  • Fiscal Responsibility: Efficiently utilize resources and supplies to promote cost savings. Manage time effectively, delegate assignments, and schedule proactively based on patient acuity and census. Engage in ongoing education to support cost-effective practices.
  • Quality: Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, including regulatory compliance and nurse-sensitive indicators. Demonstrate critical thinking, multitasking, and thorough documentation in all patient care situations. Apply evidence-based practices and make informed patient care assignments.
  • Community Service & Patient Satisfaction: Represent the healthcare facility positively in community and organizational events. Actively contribute to patient satisfaction through rounding, timely responses, service recovery, and professionalism. Foster a therapeutic environment and support healthcare students.
  • Patient Safety: Integrate safe patient care practices daily, including fall prevention, safe mobilization, medication administration, and patient identification.
