Position Summary...What you'll do...The Senior Manager, Technology Operations leads complex, cross-functional technology programs that support Walmart Marketplace's Seller Risk organization. This role partners across Product, Engineering, Operations, Data Science, Compliance, and Business teams to develop scalable solutions that strengthen marketplace trust, improve operational performance, and advance strategic business priorities. The ideal candidate combines strong program leadership with analytical problem-solving, technology strategy, and stakeholder management. They are comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing senior leaders, and using data to drive decisions while balancing business growth, operational efficiency, and marketplace integrity. About the Team The Seller Risk organization protects Walmart Marketplace by developing technology, processes, and operational capabilities that enable trusted sellers while preventing fraud, abuse, and compliance risks. The team works across strategy, operations, product, engineering, data science, and risk to improve seller onboarding, monitoring, and marketplace health through scalable, data-driven solutions. What You'll Do
  • Lead multiple complex technology and operational programs aligned to strategic business objectives.
  • Define program goals, roadmaps, deliverables, milestones, budgets, and resource plans while ensuring successful execution.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Compliance, and Business teams to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
  • Monitor program performance using KPIs, analytics, and operational reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct risk assessments, evaluate operational and marketplace trends, and develop mitigation strategies to improve decision quality and platform integrity.
  • Build business cases, prioritize initiatives, and support strategic decisions through data-driven recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing processes, implementing new technologies, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Influence senior stakeholders, communicate program status and recommendations, and build alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure programs adhere to compliance, governance, and operational standards while supporting innovation and long-term business growth.
What You'll Bring
  • Significant experience leading large-scale technology, operations, strategy, or program management initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong expertise in program management, including strategic planning, execution, financial management, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience translating business strategy into scalable technology or operational solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data, performance metrics, and business insights to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to balance customer experience, operational efficiency, compliance, and business growth.
  • Experience in eCommerce, online marketplaces, trust & safety, risk, compliance, fraud, product strategy, or related technology domains is preferred.
