Role Overview
We are seeking an Associate / VP level Securitized Products Trader to join the Securitized Products team. This individual will support the trading, risk management, and market-making of securitized products, while contributing to client engagement and broader platform growth. The role requires strong market judgment, product knowledge, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across trading, sales, research, and structuring.

Responsibilities

  • Support trading and market-making across securitized products

  • Monitor market developments, relative value opportunities, and sector trends to inform trading decisions

  • Manage risk and contribute to positioning, portfolio analysis, and inventory management

  • Partner with sales to identify client demand, communicate market color, and execute trading ideas

  • Work closely with research, structuring and other trading desks to evaluate opportunities across the securitized products platform

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external market participants

  • Contribute to the development of trading strategy and franchise growth within securitized products trading

Qualifications

  • Experience in fixed income, structured products, or securitized markets

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and interact confidently with clients and counterparties

  • Strong securitized products experience required

  • Preferred backgrounds include securitized products trading, securitized products sales, or rating agency analyst

  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with collateral, deal structures, and market dynamics

  • Demonstrated interest in markets, trading, and risk management

  • Experience with Intex, Bloomberg a plus

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required,programming ability a plus

  • Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information quickly and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

  • High attention to detail and strong commercial judgment

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
