Job Summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking Associate Director (Vice President level) to support originating and executing transactions within the project finance and infrastructure segment. The team provides a broad range of debt structuring and arrangement for large-scale, capital-intensive projects across the full infrastructure spectrum: power, renewable energy, energy related assets, midstream and infrastructure including Public Private Partnership ("PPP" or "P3").

Strategic objective of the division

Huntington National Bank ("HNB") is expanding its team of specialized project finance bankers. The Project Finance and Infrastructure ("PFI") line of business is a crucial new growth strategy for Huntington Bank's Structure Finance group and will offer the Banker the opportunity to play a critical role in building and evolving this growth business.

Objectives of the role

The Associate Director will work with Managing Directors, Associates and Portfolio Managers to expand HNB's presence in the Project Finance and Infrastructure in the US. The Associate Director will lead the execution of project finance transactions across the capital stack including construction financing and back-leverage term financing. The AD will lead analytical financial structuring, oversight over developing detailed financial models, assist in undertaking technical and legal / structuring due diligence, assist in presenting proposed transactions to management and credit group and conduct research along with other senior professionals in the group. The candidate will also provide assistance in the on-going management of booked assets. He/she will also assist in prospecting new clients, including creating marketing materials, and interfacing with internal product groups.

Over time, the Associate Director (AD) within our team are expected to step up and assume increasing levels of responsibility including taking ownership of aspects of deal processes and demonstrating their ability to ultimately step into deal team lead roles on certain transactions.

Qualification

  • Bachelors degree or additional 4 years of experience.
  • 5+ years experience in project finance and infrastructure.
  • Experience building and working in financial models.

Compensation Range:

$73,000 - $161,000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
