The Company:
Redbridge is a leading independent, international advisory firm focused on optimizing the needs of Corporate Finance Departments.
The firm was established in Paris, France 25 years ago and has been operating in the US market for more than 10 years from offices in Houston, Chicago and New York. Redbridge's wholly owned subsidiary was granted a US Broker Dealer license in August 2023.
We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development Executive (BDE) based in Houston to expand our U.S. Debt Advisory client base and franchise and drive sustainable revenue growth - capitalizing on our Broker Dealer status and replicating our success in Europe.
In addition to direct development of a target Debt Advisory client portfolio of 300+ clients, the BDE will also benefit from Debt Advisory referrals from our Payments and Cash Management sales team - and will be eligible for referral bonuses for referrals generated to the Payments and Cash Management sales team. They would also be actively involved with Product, Marketing and Lead generation in executing impactful Debt Advisory focused marketing campaigns - and in converting resulting opportunities.
We are looking for true "game changers" and self-starters with strong sales and advisory capabilities who are passionate about doing what is right for our customers, our associates, and our industry - and creating a unique business and value for our clients. This role would be ideal for the person who has an existing network and a strong entrepreneurial drive and commercial focus.

The primary objective of a Business Development Executive is to convert a portfolio of target Debt Advisory prospective clients, referrals from our Payments and Cash Management sales team and Debt Advisory campaign generated opportunities into revenue generating business deals.
Working in partnership with Product colleagues, BDEs are responsible for developing Debt Advisory client account strategies to effectively communicate Redbridge's unique value added, independent, success-based approach and initiating, developing, and managing meaningful relationships with key decision makers across the client's treasury and finance organization.
They also play a key role in developing, alongside Marketing and Product, impactful marketing content and campaigns. The role could also include developing and coaching other team members.
Lastly, the right candidate embodies Redbridge's core values - Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork, Resourcefulness and Effective Decision Making.
General responsibilities:
  • Review/refine the Debt Advisory Ideal Client Profile and client target list in collaboration with Product colleagues
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with strategic key treasury and finance leaders across Debt Advisory target clients and other referral sources
  • Effectively communicate Redbridge's unique Debt Advisory proposition and persuade corporates of the value of our approach
  • Identify and originate Debt Advisory opportunities including Capital Structure Advisory, Ratings, Syndicated Loans, Private Placements, Working Capital and Securitization
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline and accurate forecast to meet targets for profitable sales growth
  • Coordinate and collaborate with our Inside Sales team and product experts to share ideas, co-market to clients and enhance overall opportunities for the company

  • Refer Redbridge services such as Cash management optimization and payment optimization to the appropriate Cash Management and Payment sales team member.
