Job description

Corestaff Services is seeking a polished, professional Receptionist/General Assistant to support our client, an international development organization, at their Miami office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, service-minded professional to be the welcoming face of a mission-driven organization while providing essential administrative support to the team.


Location: Miami, FL (on-site)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 am -5 pm

Pay Rate: $21

Assignment Length: 1-2 months — Temporary


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, staff, and guests in a warm, professional manner and manage front desk operations
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls; manage general office email/voicemail inboxes
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries; coordinate outgoing shipments
  • Maintain a tidy, organized, and welcoming reception and common area
  • Schedule conference rooms and assist with meeting/event setup and coordination
  • Order and maintain office supplies and kitchen/pantry inventory
  • Provide general administrative support: data entry, filing, document preparation, and correspondence
  • Assist staff with travel coordination, expense reports, or calendar support as needed
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned by office leadership

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus
  • Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; professional phone etiquette
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred given Miami market and international client base
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site full-time
