Job description

The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida is seeking a professional and friendly Clinic Receptionist for the Night Shift to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role is vital in ensuring smooth communication between patients and our medical staff, contributing to the overall efficiency of our clinic.


This is a full-time position with benefits.

Must be able to work Night schedule 3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday.


Clinic Receptionist duties include but are not limited to answering phones & directing calls; handling inquiries and providing appropriate information; taking messages; greeting Clinic visitors and making them feel welcomed; maintaining the waiting room and the reception desk in a neat and orderly manner; pulling & filing of medical charts as needed; making appointments; other duties as assigned.


TECHNICAL/ PROFESSIONAL SKILLS: The incumbent should be people-oriented, compassionate and present a good appearance to interact successfully with the public. Computer literacy required and must have literacy with word processing programs. A positive attitude and a willingness to come to work every day on time is required. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must have a safe driving record and reliable transportation. At least 1 year clinic reception experience required.


Drug Screen & Background Check Required.


Job Site: Miccosukee Indian Reservation; located 20 miles west of Krome Avenue on SW 8th Street
