Job description

The Associate Digital Project Manager provides leadership and guidance to key internal stakeholders from project inception to project completion ensuring projects stay on time and on task. The Associate Digital Project Manager should demonstrate a strong understanding of digital platforms from websites and mobile apps to social platforms. Beyond managing internal teams and deliverables, the Associate Digital Project Manager will also flex to lead client/account level relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages the gathering of digital requirements and organizes the planning and scheduling of digital programs in conjunction with the overall digital strategy. Once requirements are documented, translates information into actionable briefs.
  • Works in close collaboration with Account Services, and at times directly with the client, to understand overall project objectives.
  • Develops estimates in project management tool for client review and approval.
  • Upon project approval, actively manages the planning, implementation, and execution of digital marketing projects with internal teams and clients.
  • Attends and actively participates in all status meetings, client meetings and calls
  • Guides day-to-day development of digital programs within approved plans and in accordance with client’s objectives and budgets.
  • Ensures that progressive stages are approved with adequate time to meet schedules and that deadlines are met.
  • Understands user experience / information architecture.
  • Interfaces with development partners to schedule back-end development.
  • Schedules quality assurance (testing) procedures to ensure error-free work product.
  • Manages the scheduling of the evaluation and analysis of digital program performance and prepares reports for clients and others as required.
  • Builds and nurtures productive business relationships with clients, vendors, and members of the agency.
  • Travel to client location when appropriate.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Enter time on a daily basis.
  • Travel periodically, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Understanding of Internet technology and digital marketing required.
  • Basic level of HTML required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, computer science, information science technology or a related discipline.
  • High level of skill with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
  • 1-2 years advertising or digital agency experience preferred.
  • Content management system experience preferred.
  • Able to follow established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
  • Possess the desire and ability to develop good working relationships with customers.
  • Able to multitask, work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
  • Maintain professional image in both internal and external communications.
