Job Description
Due to our growth, we have a current opportunity for an Associate Program Manager located in Woodlawn, MD (close to Baltimore, MD)
Position Summary
Assist the Program Manager in managing highly skilled personnel in a large, complex technical environment.
  • Manage all administrative contract matters for all contractor employees
  • In conjunction with corporate office, fulfill recruiting duties by filling vacancies and new support requests
  • Serve as liaison between the contractors and points of contact for the Government and between subcontractors and OBXtek
  • Responsible for all deliverables related to the management of the contract including budget reports, technical progress reports, weekly and monthly reports, and invoice verifications
  • Assist with managing employee performance and resolving personnel and performance issues with staff
  • Serve as a PM when PM is absent or position is vacant

Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
7-10 (preferred 10) years managing at least 40 personnel in a large, complex technical environment
Experience in government contracting and with subcontracting
Experience recruiting and hiring IT technical personnel
Experience working with HR to resolve personnel performance issues
Experience with financial functions, including reviewing invoices for accuracy, approving payables, approving payroll and assisting with contract budget
Strong attention to detail
Strong MS Word and Excel experience
Strong communication skills
