Position Summary...As part of the Global Technology Platform Program Management organization, you will join a team of Program Managers who are delivering exciting business application engineered cloud experience and enable them to deliver great application solutions for Walmart customers. You will also own critical workstreams for technology component and service work decomposition, execution plans, execution, feedback loops and transparency. You will work collaboratively with product management and engineering teams to ensure on time delivery with quality results.

  • Own strategic initiatives and work with a passionate team of Product and Engineering Leaders to deliver outcomes for the Developer Platform team
  • Inspire and energize cross-functional teams to achieve our vision, define our strategy, evaluate our business, and identify opportunities to work better and deliver value to our internal and external customers
  • Deliver highly visible, high-impact programs and coach your team of experienced and skilled program managers
  • Lead your team to continue building structure and rigor in our practices, build mastery in our program management craft, and inspire creativity and innovation
  • Define and execute plans for priority initiatives in an agile environment

What you'll bring:
  • Minimum of 15 years of total work experience in a combination of technology development, program management, business analysis or strategy
  • Knowledge of Cloud Platforms orchestration, architecture, capacity management, containers, monitoring, telemetry, application management and deployment.
  • Knowledge and working experience in cloud and data technologies: container/Kubernetes, Platform as a Services, Big Data processing platforms (such as Dataproc), Messaging & Streaming services, Transactional and Non-Transitional Database
  • Experience using product backlog management tools like JIRA and Confluence for planning, execution and release transparency
  • Strong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence key decision makers and understand their points of view
