Communications & Program Associate
Position Summary
The Communications & Program Associate plays a central role in supporting Na'aleh's communications, programs, and organizational effectiveness. Working as part of a small, collaborative team, this position coordinates communications across digital and print platforms, supports the successful implementation of Na'aleh's leadership programs and learning experiences, and provides project management and administrative support to the Executive Director and professional team.

Primary Responsibilities
Communications & Marketing (Primary Responsibility)
  • Write and edit compelling content for newsletters, emails, website, social media, marketing materials, and organizational communications in collaboration with the Executive Director, professional team, and the Associated Marketing team.
  • Develop and execute Na'aleh's communications calendar.
  • Develop, publish, and manage content across the website, email, and social media channels, partnering with the Operations Associate to ensure timely, engaging, and mission-aligned updates.
  • Capture stories, photos, and video at programs and events; develop participant spotlights, success stories, and organizational updates; and maintain a library of communications assets.
  • Coordinate graphic design, photography, video, and printing needs, as appropriate.
  • Monitor communications analytics and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain and publish Na'aleh's Leadership Library, toolkits, and other digital learning resources, ensuring materials are current, visually engaging, and accessible.

Program Support
  • Provide communications, coordination, and administrative support for leadership programs, workshops, convenings, and signature events.
  • Develop and coordinate participant communications before, during, and after programs, including emails, presentations, and visual and digital materials.
  • Partner with the Operations Associate to ensure program materials are accurate, professionally presented, and delivered on time, including participant information, presentations, name tags, handouts, and supplies.
  • Help ensure a welcoming, organized, and high-quality participant experience across all Na'aleh offerings.

Executive & Board Support
  • Support the preparation of agendas, presentations, meeting materials, and follow-up notes.
  • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of board and committee meeting materials and provide logistical support for meetings.
  • Conduct research and gather information to support planning and decision-making.
  • Maintain organized files, documents, and shared resources.
  • Assist with tracking action items and following up on assigned task
  • Provide administrative and project support to the Executive Director and professional team, as needed.

Organizational Support
  • Coordinate data collection and reporting to support evaluation, impact measurement, grant reporting, and organizational decision-making.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Two to four years of experience in communications, marketing, nonprofit administration, project coordination, program coordination, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and executing communications across multiple channels, including email, websites, and social media.
  • Experience supporting events, educational programs, or community-based initiatives preferred.

Skills
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to translate ideas into clear, engaging communications for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, high-quality work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Technical Skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact)
  • Familiarity with website content management systems.
  • Experience maintaining brand consistency across digital and print communications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.
  • Basic photography, video, and graphic design skills are desirable.

Compensation & Benefits:Salary Range: Salary range is $53,000-$55,000; Salary is commensurate with experience.
