Job description

The Self-Directed Investing product organization within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management empowers clients to take control of their financial futures by providing a comprehensive suite of digital tools and resources. As an Associate, Product Manager on the Advanced Investing team, you will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing digital trading platforms for options, fixed income, and digital assets. You will be responsible for delivering robust features across web and mobile that enable clients to discover, evaluate, and execute trades across multiple asset classes. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams-including design, engineering, and data analytics-to deliver meaningful solutions. Technical expertise is highly valued, and experience building trading platforms is strongly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the development of trading platforms for options, fixed income, and crypto
  • Support the development of our product strategy and roadmap
  • Collect and analyze metrics on product performance to inform decision-making
  • Lead solution discovery through collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that address user needs and align with business goals
  • Write product requirements and oversee successful build, test, and launch for new features
  • Serve as an expert on existing features, engaging with internal stakeholders to triage client input where needed
  • Analyze competitor trends and internal insights to identify opportunities for improvement, implementing innovative solutions that enhance client satisfaction and engagement

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 2 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, project management, or a relevant domain area
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Exposure to product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
  • Familiarity with retail investing and a strong understanding of investment vehicles (e.g., Fixed Income, Options, Digital Assets)
  • Technical expertise and ability to partner with engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience building trading platforms for options, fixed income, or digital assets preferred
  • Technical ability with engineering background preferred
