Job Title: Marketing Operations Coordinator

Location: Vienna, VA

Assignment Type: Contract | Approximately 4-month assignment

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 / hour

Work Schedule: Hybrid Schedule

  • In Office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Remote: Monday, Friday
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 40 hours per week

Addison Group is partnering with a mission-driven organization seeking a Marketing Operations Coordinator to support a growing marketing team during a period of increased project activity and event programming. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to marketing initiatives, process improvements, and event execution while working in a collaborative environment.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to assist with marketing operations, campaign support, reporting, data management, and event coordination. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data and systems, and can successfully manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update marketing databases and contact records to ensure data accuracy.
  • Support email marketing initiatives, including audience segmentation and campaign preparation.
  • Verify and reconcile attendee and registration information across multiple platforms.
  • Generate reports and track key marketing metrics.
  • Assist with documenting workflows and supporting implementation of new project management processes.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including vendor communication and catering arrangements.
  • Organize and maintain digital files and shared documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support project timelines and operational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional office experience required.
  • Project coordination or project management experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous nonprofit industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Mailchimp, Cvent, or similar systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently after onboarding and training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional demeanor and adaptable work style.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.

Additional Details:

  • Contract assignment through approximately October.
  • Hybrid work environment with three in-office days per week.
  • Business casual office setting.
  • Limited overtime may be available with prior management approval.
  • Collaborative team environment with approximately five team members.
  • Manager provides structured onboarding, ongoing support, and regular one-on-one meetings.
