Job description

Electrical Engineer's will utilize engineering tools and processes in the planning, design, engineering, and implementation of the controls engineering for customer orders according to scope, budget, and schedule.
What you'll be handling
  • Support internal training of related engineering tools and processes.
  • Create and maintain controls engineering documentation - including sensor/actuator layouts and associated engineering and electrical installation reports, controls component order lists, electrical drawings and associated reports - on new projects and/or retrofit/upgrade projects, either independently, or as part of a team.
  • Create and maintain documentation for integrated safety and network engineering.
  • Provide technical support for the Mechanical/Project engineering team, Control cabinet manufacturing, and controls installation onsite.
  • Cross-reference, and/or specify controls components, create TGW part numbers, and order controls components in associated software tools (Navision and/or SAP/Budget).
  • Support the specification, clarification and documentation of controls processes and communication points with software - Controls PLC and MFS.
What you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a controls related field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science) preferred, or associates degree and equivalent experience.
  • Several years' applicable experience in an industrial environment that includes design, debug, startup and production-cut in of warehouse controls equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience working on full design to production project lifecycles.
  • Willingness to travel up ~20-30% of the time domestically and internationally.
