Network Engineer (Healthcare) - HYBRID in Kalamazoo, Three Rivers, Allegan

Description

Our healthcare client is seeking a Network Engineer to support and enhance its enterprise network environment. Reporting to the Network Manager, this individual will help maintain network availability, perform troubleshooting, and support a Cisco-based LAN/WAN and wireless infrastructure. The role includes both day-to-day network operations and participation in infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations & Support

  • Monitor and maintain network performance and availability across the Cisco network environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, hardware, and software issues involving Cisco switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Utilize network monitoring tools to identify and address network performance issues.
  • Provide Level I–III support and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Infrastructure & Engineering

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco wired and wireless network solutions.
  • Assist with infrastructure upgrades and network improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to standardize network configurations and support security initiatives.

Pay and Benefits
